I played under 13 to 19 for prince of wales college moratuwa sri lanka and vice captained the all aged groups. I was a best batsman of year 2004 school big match and best fielder of 2007 big match. I played under 23 div 1 cricket tournament in 2008 for Lankan cricket club and moratuwa sports club in 2009,2010.I was a vice captain in 2010 tournament.I played nine first class matches for Moratuwa Sports Club in year 2010.
